The Perseids are one of the brighter meteor showers of the year. They occur every year between July 17 and August 24 and tend to peak around August 9-13. They were fantastic light show last nite but they are lighting fast that I caught a rare one with color! along with our grand ol universe milkyway in the backdrop These meteors have minerals loaded and put up a color show as they burn off. #perseids #meteor #yr2020 #astrophotography #darksky #California #sonya7iii
